On behalf of the Council of the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I am honoured to serve as your President for the 2026–2028 term. This is not merely a position — it is a mandate from you, our members, and I intend to honour it with full accountability.

The Indian business community in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor has never lacked talent, resilience, or ambition. What we need now is a chamber that works as hard as our members do — one that opens real doors, builds real partnerships, and delivers measurable outcomes across every sector we serve.

Over the coming two years, our Council will focus on nine strategic pillars: strengthening SME capacity, driving trade and export growth, deepening engagement with government agencies including MATRADE, MDEC, HRDC, MIDA and SME Corp, championing digital transformation, advancing human capital development, fostering youth entrepreneurship, expanding our professional networks, advocating for policy reform, and reinforcing the welfare of our business community.

These are not aspirations on paper. They are commitments I bring with over two decades of experience in SME development and business advocacy, and a track record across eight elected leadership roles since 2003. I understand the realities our members face — rising costs, regulatory complexity, and the constant pressure to remain competitive — and I am here to help you navigate all of it.

My door is open. My team is ready. And our work begins now.
