Strategic Financing For Indian Businesses Highlighted At Klsicci-sme Bank Session

Objective: To introduce and promote SME Bank’s Vanigham financing scheme to Indian entrepreneurs for business growth and sustainability.

22nd May 2025, Kuala Lumpur – In a joint effort to support and empower Indian entrepreneurs in Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI), in collaboration with SME Bank, successfully held a briefing session on the Skim Pembiayaan Vanigham at Wisma KLSICCI.

The event was attended by aspiring and established business owners from various sectors seeking financing options to expand and sustain their businesses.

The session began with welcoming remarks by Mr. Panir Selvam Chandrasegaran, Vice President of KLSICCI, who emphasised the importance of accessible financing for Indian entrepreneurs and applauded SME Bank’s targeted support under the Vanigham scheme.

Mrs. Nur Hidayah Md Hanapiah, Manager of SF Evaluation at SME Bank, delivered a detailed presentation on the Skim Pembiayaan Vanigham, outlining eligibility, application procedures, and the strategic benefits the financing scheme offers to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The session concluded with closing remarks by Ms. Mogana Chinnathamby, Honorary Secretary General of KLSICCI, who encouraged participants to seize the opportunities presented and reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to uplifting the Indian business community through continuous engagement with financial institutions and policy stakeholders.
