Meeting Between Sri Lanka-malaysia Business Council (Slmbc) And Kuala Lumpur And Selangor Indian Chamber Of Commerce Industry (Klsicci)

A productive meeting was held between the Sri Lanka-Malaysia Business Council (SLMBC) and the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry (KLSICCI) to discuss extending SLMBC’s International membership to Malaysian companies. This initiative aims to foster collaborations and promote joint ventures across trade, tourism, and services between Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Key Discussion Points:

  1. 1. Membership Extension: The SLMBC is extending its international membership to Malaysian companies, enhancing opportunities for collaboration.
  2. Joint Ventures: Emphasis was placed on promoting joint ventures that facilitate trade and tourism, aiming for mutual growth.
  3. Information Exchange: The councils discussed mechanisms for exchanging information on trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
  4. Future Partnerships: I shared insights on potential avenues for future partnerships, which align with our collective goal of strengthening business ties.

SLMBC warmly welcomed KLSICCI into its network, and both organizations are excited about the prospects of impactful collaborations that will drive mutual growth and prosperity. Together, we aim to create dynamic opportunities that benefit businesses across both regions.
