𝐊𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐀 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐑, 𝟕 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 — The Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSICCI), in collaboration with TEKUN Nasional, successfully conducted the “SPUMI Goes Big” briefing session at the Royal Selangor Club, Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur.

This expanded initiative was organised following the overwhelming support and positive response garnered during the initial session, which attracted over 100 participants. The strong turnout and sustained enthusiasm from the entrepreneurial community underscore the growing demand for accessible financing opportunities and highlight the vital role such initiatives play in supporting small and micro-businesses.

The session, aimed at empowering micro and small entrepreneurs from the Indian community, drew enthusiastic participation from business owners eager to learn about funding opportunities under the Skim Pembiayaan Usahawan Masyarakat India (SPUMI).

The event opened with welcoming remarks by KLSICCI Deputy President, Mr. Prabagaran Vythilingam, who urged participants to make full use of the opportunity provided, highlighting KLSICCI’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and promoting economic growth.

The speaker, Mr. Muhammad Aisy Balaguru, delivered an extraordinary presentation on the TEKUN SPUMI GOES BIG scheme, providing a detailed explanation of the application process, eligibility criteria, and funding structures available to Indian entrepreneurs. His engaging delivery was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, where participants had the chance to clarify their doubts directly with the TEKUN team.
