KLSICCI Hosts E-Invoicing Implementation Workshop to Prepare Members for Digital Compliance

OBJECTIVE:
Guiding participants on the transition from traditional invoicing to real-time digital invoicing, covering changes in transaction management, documentation formats, and internal system readiness.

11 December 2025, Kuala Lumpur – KLSICCI successfully organised the E-Invoicing Implementation Workshop, drawing strong participation from members, entrepreneurs, finance professionals, and industry representatives preparing for Malaysia’s transition to the national e-invoice system. The programme was chaired by Ms. Amutha Muniandy, Council Member of KLSICCI and Chairperson of the Training and Development Committee, underscoring KLSICCI’s continued focus on structured capacity-building initiatives for its members.

The workshop aimed to equip businesses with a clear understanding of the LHDN e-invoicing requirements, including the government’s objectives, mandatory implementation timelines, and the overall framework governing digital invoicing. Participants were guided through the fundamentals of e-invoicing, the move from traditional invoicing to real-time validation, and the key compliance checkpoints businesses must observe.

In addition, the session highlighted essential changes in transaction management, documentation formats, and the importance of preparing internal systems and teams for a smooth and compliant transition. Active engagement from participants through questions and discussions allowed for meaningful exchanges, addressing industry-specific concerns and practical operational challenges.

The workshop concluded with KLSICCI reaffirming its commitment to supporting members through continuous education, technical guidance, and relevant training programmes, ensuring businesses are well prepared to navigate regulatory changes and strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly digital business environment.
