KLSICCI Conducted Briefing on BSN Mikro Loan to Empower Micro-Entrepreneurs

Objective: To empower micro and small business owners by enhancing their financial literacy and providing direct access to financing opportunities, specifically the BSN Mikro I-MADANI Loan of up to RM100,000. The session aimed to educate participants on sound money management through insights from AKPK, while also guiding them on the loan’s eligibility and application process via BSN.

𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐊𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐫 – The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) successfully organised a briefing session on the BSN Mikro Loan of RM100K to support and uplift micro and small business owners. Held at the KLSICCI Training Room, the session focused on promoting financial literacy and access to financing opportunities.

The event commenced with a Welcome Note by Mr. V.K.K. Rajasekaran, Chairperson of the Economic & Investment Committee and KLSICCI Council Member, who thanked SME participants for their presence and active interest. This was followed by an Opening Note from Deputy President Mr. Prabakaran Vythilingam, who reaffirmed KLSICCI’s commitment to empowering SMEs and creating meaningful links with financial institutions.

The first session was led by Mr. Alif Faizudin Jamaludin from Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), who delivered an engaging talk on financial education, highlighting the importance of money management, budgeting and financial discipline for business sustainability.

Mr. Mohd Haidar Hadri bin Ma’min from Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) then introduced the MIKRO I-MADANI Financing Scheme, explaining the eligibility, benefits, and application process of the RM100,000 facility designed specifically for micro-entrepreneurs, which can be a game-changer for micro-enterprises seeking expansion and resilience.

A productive Q&A session followed, allowing participants to interact directly with the speakers. The session ended with light networking, where attendees exchanged experiences and explored collaborations.

This initiative reaffirms KLSICCI’s dedication to bridging knowledge, resources and opportunities for the SME community.
