Klsicci Hosts Informative Session On E-invoicing And Myinvoice Portal

Objective: To educate businesses on Malaysia’s e-Invoicing implementation and the myInvoice portal, equipping them with the knowledge to streamline invoicing processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance operational efficiency through digital adoption.

23rd Jan 2025, Kuala Lumpur – The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) organized a highly informative session titled “Introduction to e-Invoicing & myInvoice Portal Walk-through.” The talk was led by Mr. Siva Subramaniyam Thendayuthapany, Section Director of the Customer Service and Document Management Division, Large Taxpayers Branch (CPCB), LHDN.

KLSICCI Deputy President Mr. Prabagaran Vyithilingam, Hon. Secretary General Ms. Mogana Chinnathamby, Assistant Hon. Secretary General Mr. Tony Clifford Thomas, and Council Member Mr. Krish Madhavan, Pn. Fauziah Bibi and Mr. Shamil Patel were present at the event. Other notable representatives included Ampang District Liaison, Mr. Gunaraj Muniandy.

The session, which attracted over 100 participants comprising both KLSICCI members and non-members, offered valuable insights into the implementation of e-Invoicing in Malaysia. It also included a detailed walk-through of the myInvoice portal, aimed at helping businesses streamline their invoicing processes in compliance with government requirements.

The speaker highlighted the significance of adopting digital invoicing systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance for businesses of all sizes. Participants were guided through the portal’s features, including user registration, invoice submission processes, and management tools.

Attendees actively engaged in the session, asking questions about the practical applications of the portal and the advantages of transitioning to an e-invoicing framework. The discussion also addressed concerns raised by businesses about integrating the system into their existing operations and clarified compliance requirements.
