𝑲𝑳𝑺𝑰𝑪𝑪𝑰 𝑭𝒖𝒏 𝑹𝒖𝒏 2025: 𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕

𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐁𝐊𝐋 – The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) successfully organized the KLSICCI Fun Run 2025, held at Dataran DBKL in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur Car Free Morning (KLCFM). With over 500 participants, the 5km run celebrated health, wellness, and community unity.

The event was officiated by Dr. Vellapandian Ponnusamy, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Youth Research Malaysia (IYRES), under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He was joined by Mr. Nivas Ragavan, President of KLSICCI, and Mr. Prabagaran Vythilingam, the Organising Chairperson, whose leadership was key to the event’s success.

KLSICCI Council Members, including Mr. Krish Madhavan, Ms. Amutha Muniandy, Dr. Rajasegar, Mr. V.K.K. Rajasekaran, Mr. Shamil Patel, Datuk Danesh Muraj, Ampang District Representative Mr. Gunaraj Muniandy and Farming and Livestock Industry Representative Dr. Gunalan Shanmugam were present to lend their support to this initiative, highlighting the Chamber’s dedication to community-driven programs.

The event was preceded by Hon. Secretary General Ms. Mogana Chinnathamby, whose engaging presence added to the vibrant atmosphere, ensuring the smooth flow of the program together with the warm-up session led by Ms. Sanmuga Selvi energizing the participants and setting the tone for the run.

A special highlight was the presentation of finisher medals to the first 300 finishers who completed the 5km run, adding a sense of achievement to the day’s proceedings.

The success of the Fun Run was made possible through the vital contributions of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), particularly the Jabatan Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Pelancongan dan Sukan. Their on-ground support played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated event.

KLSICCI also extends its gratitude to the event sponsors, whose generous support significantly contributed to the success of this initiative.
