Who can become a member of KLSICCI?
Membership is open to Malaysian Indian entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, partnerships, limited companies, SMEs, and individuals interested in advancing their business activities through a recognized and credible platform.
What are the types of membership available?
KLSICCI offers several categories of membership, including Ordinary Member, Firms (Sole Proprietorship or Partnerships), Limited Companies, Associate Member, Honorary Member, and Life Member, each with specific privileges and subscription structures.
How do I apply for KLSICCI membership?
To apply for membership, applicants must complete the online application form available on the KLSICCI website.
After filling in the form, you are required to submit all necessary supporting documents (such as company registration, business licenses, or personal identification) and make the corresponding payment for the entrance fee and annual subscription (or Life Membership fee, if applicable).
Once the form, documents, and payment are received, your application will be reviewed by the KLSICCI Executive Committee (EXCO). Membership approval is subject to the committee’s evaluation and confirmation. Upon approval, an official confirmation will be issued, and your membership will be activated.
What is the cost of membership?
Membership costs vary based on the category:
Ordinary Member- Firms (Sole Proprietorship or Partnerships): Entrance Fee RM 100 | Yearly Subscription RM 350
Ordinary Member- Limited Companies : Entrance Fee RM 200 | Yearly Subscription RM 500
- Associate Member: Entrance Fee RM 200 | Yearly Subscription RM 250
- Life Member: One-time payment of RM 5,000
What are the benefits of joining KLSICCI?

Can I upgrade from Ordinary Member to Life Member later?
Yes, existing members can apply to upgrade to Life Membership by paying the one-time Life Member fee, subject to committee approval.
Are Associate Members allowed to vote?
Associate Members enjoy access to many chamber activities but do not hold voting rights in KLSICCI’s decision-making processes.
Is KLSICCI membership recognized for business travel purposes?
Yes. KLSICCI supports eligible members with facilitation services for the APEC Business Travel Card application, enhancing ease of travel for business within APEC member economies.
