23 DEC 2025, KUALA LUMPUR – The Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSICCI) participated in the #VisitSriLanka High Tea event hosted by the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Malaysia, promoting Sri Lanka as a preferred travel destination for Malaysians in 2026.
The event gathered over 50 travel and tourism stakeholders, including MITTA, MSLBC, airline operators, and industry players. Participants were briefed by Acting High Commissioner Mr. M. I. Mohamed Rizvi on Sri Lanka’s tourism readiness, while Mr. Buddhika Hewawasam, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, shared updates on the sector’s full recovery.
