KLSICCI Hosts SST Briefing To Equip Businesses With Crucial Tax Insights

𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲, 𝐊𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐫 – The Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI) successfully hosted a Briefing and Engagement Session on Sales and Service Tax (SST) at Wisma KLSICCI, drawing strong participation from the business community.

The session, part of KLSICCI’s effort to help members navigate regulatory changes, featured Mr. John Patrick Antonysamy, Under Secretary of the Tax Division, Ministry of Finance, as the keynote speaker. He provided a detailed overview of the SST framework, including registration, compliance, and key differences from the previous tax system.

KLSICCI President Mr. Nivas Ragavan opened the session by highlighting the importance of understanding the SST’s impact across sectors. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Honorary Secretary General Ms. Mogana Chinnathamby, who reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to bridging dialogue between businesses and the government.
