Meeting With The Malaysian Ambassador To Sri Lanka And Maldives

I had the honour of meeting with His Excellency H.E Badli Hisham Adam the Malaysian Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Maldives, to discuss trade and investment opportunities between Malaysia and Sri Lanka. This meeting was a significant step towards enhancing the bilateral relationship and exploring collaborative avenues.

Discussion Highlights:

1. Exploring Potential Collaborations:

We discussed the need to identify and explore collaborations that can enhance bilateral trade. This includes sectors where both nations can benefit from mutual cooperation.

2. Insights on Malaysian Business Sectors:

I shared insights regarding various Malaysian business sectors that are actively seeking opportunities in Sri Lanka. This exchange of information is crucial for understanding where our efforts can be best directed to facilitate investments.

3. Supporting Trade Businesses:

We explored how KLSICCI can play a pivotal role in supporting Sri Lankan businesses that are looking towards Malaysia for growth and expansion and vice versa. Emphasizing our commitment to facilitating connections and providing resources for businesses eager to engage in the Malaysian and Sri Lankan market.

The meeting with the Malaysian Ambassador was fruitful and laid the groundwork for future collaborations aimed at strengthening trade ties between Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Both parties expressed enthusiasm about the potential for increased cooperation and agreed to follow up on the discussed initiatives.
