Moments Captured

14th June, KL – The Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSICCI) organised a briefing on TEKUN’s Skim Pembangunan Usahawan Masyarakat India (SPUMI Goes Big) at the Royal Selangor Club, Dataran Kuala Lumpur , earlier this week .

This event aimed to provide detailed information about the TEKUN’s SPUMI initiative, a specialized financing scheme designed to enhance the economic capabilities of Indian entrepreneurs, particularly those operating Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The presentation was done by Tekun Executives Mr. Rajkumar Ponniah and the Q&A session was led by. Mr. Balaguru Gurupatham .

The event had a good response with over 200 MSME representatives from various business trades & sectors in attendance. The high turnout demonstrated the community’s strong interest in growth and development opportunities made possible through financial assistance schemes like SPUMI.

The briefing served as a central platform that united more than 200 MSMEs, equipping them with essential information and resources to take advantage of the SPUMI scheme for their business expansion. This engagement not only educated and informed but also inspired and empowered Indian entrepreneurs to strive for greater achievements in their business endeavours. The enthusiastic response and significant participation underscore the ongoing need for support and informative sessions to ensure the sustained growth and development of MSMEs within the Indian community.
