KLSICCI's Digital Media & IT working committee organized “Let's Go Digital Free Trade Zone” programme recently in KLSICCI HQ, which had given good outreach and awareness to the participants on the export business marketplace.
A lot of information was shared by experts from DFTZ, Alibaba Malaysia and URCE (Channel Partner of Alibaba). Mr. R. Irma Izaidi from MDEC spoke on the Government initiatives on Export Opportunities through DFTZ, what areas had been fostered through the DFTZ platform and how to apply for DFTZ Grants which were available under MATRADE through its e-Trade programme. The objective was to encourage micro-business owners and SMEs to utilize the subsidies to kick-start their e-commerce platform effectively, in order to tap the exciting Global market.
Ms. Catherine from Alibaba Malaysia and the URCE Team jointly educated the participants on the benefits of using the Alibaba e-Commerce platform to tap the vast China market. The participants had a very fruitful interactive session with the Speakers, to learn more about these exciting export opportunities.
Ms. Amutha from Hers Manufacturing Sdn Bhd freely shared her real-life experiences with initial zero knowledge in the export markets. Eventually, with the right guidance by DFTZ and the Alibaba Team, she successfully started exporting Muruku and Cordial drinks to China.
KLSICCI will be guiding the participants to continue their journey from here onwards to become successful Malaysia exporters via Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ).
